Welcome
to Our Ministry
Welcome to the Christians
At Large (CALM) website. It is our hope and prayer that our ministry can help
you in your relationship with God. We are a non-denominational Christian ministry
focusing on evangelism, ministering, equipping, and supporting individuals, other ministries and churches. We are a conservative Christian ministry who believe in the authority of the Bible as the Word of God. We believe that where the Bible speaks – we speak, and where the Bible is silent
– we are silent. We believe that the Bible is the power of God to salvation.
We are also an online church
that is available for everyone to participate in. We in no way wish to draw you
away from your local church, but we exist as a supplement to the local church. If
you do not have a church you attend you are more than welcome to join our church and ministry. If you wish you can join our ministry even if you are a member of a local church. Just click on the
‘Membership’ link and send us your request. We are a very small ministry
at present but it is our prayer that God use us in a mighty way to impact our communities, states, nation, and the world. I hope to hear from you soon and pray that God blesses each of you and impacts on
and in your life in a mighty way.
“Now may the God of peace – who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the
sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood – may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is
pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21 (NLT)

Ministry
Who We Are
Christians At Large Ministry (CALM)
is considered a ‘church without walls’ in that we do not operate in a ‘brick and mortar’ church type
setting like many of churches today operate. CALM is a multi-focused ministry
operating in four different, yet intertwined, braches of ministry.
Branch One is that of Personal Evangelism Outreach. Each individual
Christian is called to preach the message of hope and salvation that can only be attained through a personal relationship
with our Lord Jesus Christ. Each member of CALM is highly encouraged to spread
the Gospel to everyone we come into contact with and we offer web-based training in personal evangelism.
Branch Two is the web ministry of CALM. Christians At Large
operates a web-based ministry offering on-line Bible studies, Christian fellowship through message boards, sermons, and a
host of other on-line services.
Branch Three CALM is dedicated to assisting churches, regardless of denomination or theological differences.
CALM provides guest and/or interim pastoral services where and when needed.
Branch Four of the ministry is the Jail Ministry. We work
closely with the Jail Ministry of the Cumberland County Detention
Center in Fayetteville, NC by providing Bible studies, prayer, and 3rd Sunday worship services. We also assist with the book ministry within the detention center by collecting new and used Bibles, books
and magazines for the men and women who are incarcerated there.
If you are not yet involved with
Christians At Large Ministry it is our hope and prayer that you join us in serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Important Fellowship Information
Christians At Large Ministry is not intended to replace regular church attendance or be your only source
of Christian fellowship. Christians At Large Ministry is designed to be a resource
and a source of Christian fellowship in addition to you local church. Everyone
is highly encouraged, if you have not already done so, to locate and fellowship in a local church or other place of worship. We gain strength by fellowshipping with other believers in person as well as here
on the web. The early church understood the importance of regular fellowship
with each other as shown in Acts 2:42-47 “They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship,
to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the
apostles…Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts.
They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,
praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” We encourage you to fellowship
with us on a regular basis by utilizing the message board but we also encourage you to fellowship with a local body of believers.
